About Us
Meet Miss Janie & Miss Carrie
We’re a mother and daughter, and childcare isn’t just our career, it’s our calling.
Miss Carrie and her husband Chad raised six children of her own and built a career in childcare along the way. She passed that love and that experience on to her oldest daughter, Miss Janie, who grew up helping care for her five younger siblings and then carried the tradition into her own professional career in childcare.

Now Miss Janie is opening her own daycare. And the best part? Miss Carrie, her mother, and Janie’s younger sisters all live in the home just beside the daycare, making Little Dala Daycare something truly rare: a neighborhood rooted in family, where the support system is not just close by but literally next door.
You will find Miss Carrie in and out throughout the day, providing oversight and a steady, experienced presence. She will be found baking in the kitchen, as she runs Dala Bakehouse, her own small-batch micro-bakery, right out of the daycare kitchen. Snack time is something special here. Miss Carrie bakes fresh Dala Bakehouse goods right in our kitchen for the kids to enjoy.
Two generations. One calling. Your child.
